About Pacific Motorsport
A brief history:
Pacific was founded in response to finding what we believe to be, is a gap in the current track day market. Douglas Drake is our Founder and Head of Operations and has been in the leisure, logistics and the transport industry for the last 30 years. He has experience, in all aspects of the industry, from running trucks all over Europe to the maintenance of HGV fleets and sales, import and export of new and used commercial vehicles.
On his travels, through meeting drivers and customers of current track day events providers, he saw an opportunity to build a niche business to meet the needs of discerning clients.
Why Pacific Motorsport?
Nobody in the market was providing a track day experience with its customers at its core. We discovered that many current track day events have several missing elements from what we believe could be a greater customer experience. We found that bikes are being damaged during transport and tracks are being overfilled meaning your riding time is reduced. This over running of a track event deducts from the experience you travel so far for – more waiting, less riding, more hassle! And most importantly no hidden costs, with Pacific the price you see is the price you pay

We take care of everything so you don’t have to worry. Once your bike is with us we transport it to the track with a no quibble guarantee that in the unlikely event that your bike gets damaged we will fix it, we can do this because of the faith we have in our unique transportation system. We always have a courtesy bus available so by arrangement we can pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel where you will have a meet and greet session with our team and your other fellow riders, and to the track for a safety briefing, before getting you out on the track, with minimal of fuss.
Your bike is transported on our custom built steel pallet base, and loaded into our own specially designed double deck race trailers. No third party transport companies and no forklifts are involved and no padding and blankets are necessary. Each trailer contains only 30 bikes, individually stored and transported meaning no damage with secure loading and delivery of your bike to the track. Our team are all track day enthusiasts as well as industry professionals and have a passion for delivering a quality service. You can deliver your bike to us, at our Surrey HQ or for additional charge we also offer a pick up and collection service at selected UK pick up points or for our European riders we have trailers permanently based out our facility in Erpe-Mere near Brussels in Belgium.
Track Day Insurance:
Most track day companies require that you source your own insurance, but not us - All of our event costs include providing you with the necessary insurance legally required to allow you to attend European track day events for your extra peace of mind. The insurance we provide covers your medical expenses and where repatriation is concerned, gets you home safely in the event of an accident on track. Our insurance is subject to filling out and signing a disclaimer declaring details of any current medical condition and/or course of medication/s.
