Alcohol and banned substances such as drugs:
There is a complete ban on the use alcohol and any banned substances at a Pacific MotorSport event. Joining instructions will be issued and all riders are requested to sign in on the morning of the track event and it will be necessary to complete a disclaimer form. 2 disclaimer forms are required to be signed. A) Pacific Motor Sport and where appropriate B) Circuit requirements. Emergency contact details must be provided. Each rider will be given a wristband usually denoting the colour of the group they are in; together with a sticker which should be placed on the front of the motorcycle they are riding, and/or a further wristband to show that they have attended the compulsory briefing. Wristbands and stickers will be checked by Pacific Motorsport/circuit staff prior to each group riding on circuit, and must therefore be worn all day. Tampering with wristbands/stickers in any way may result in the rider being asked to leave the circuit without a refund or credit.
Compulsory Rider Briefing
All riders must attend the compulsory briefing given by Pacific Motorsport/circuit staff at the beginning of the day. A further briefing for the Novice group will usually follow, to provide Novice track riders with further details and the opportunity for them to ask questions. Attendance of the briefing will be validated by a wristband or sticker for their bike. Wristbands and stickers will be checked by Pacific Motorsport/circuit staff prior to each group riding on circuit, and should therefore be worn all day. Tampering with wristbands/stickers in any way may result in the rider being removed without a refund or credit.
Rules on circuit
Riders are requested to ride safely and with respect to other track users. The onus to overtake safely is on the rider behind doing the overtaking. Riders who are seen to be riding disrespectfully and/or dangerously will be warned once. A second incident will result in the rider being removed from the circuit with no recourse to a refund or credit. Riders who are disrespectful and/or dangerous will not be permitted on further Pacific Motor Sport events. Pacific Motor Sport does not operate as a “race school” and lap timers are not permitted, unless supplied by Pacific Motorsport, and will be confiscated.

The instructors are happy to brief you prior to your session to find out what elements of track riding you want to focus on. They will also provide you with a debrief following your session on circuit with them.
